Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to reduce the work involved in installing, or maintaining or managing a measurement device for multiple ballast water measurements and to make it simpler for a ballast water measurement device and a ballast water processing facility installed on a ship to work together. This measurement device (2, 52) treats ballast water before processing as first ballast water and treats ballast water after processing as second ballast water and is provided with: a first measurement unit (6-1, 54-1) for measuring the water quality of the first ballast water, a second measurement unit (6-2, 54-2) for measuring the water quality of the second ballast water, a reagent supply unit (8) for connecting to the first measurement unit and second measurement unit and supplying a reagent from a single reagent container to the first measurement unit and second measurement unit, a water draining unit (7) that is connected to the first measurement unit and second measurement unit and drains the first ballast water and second ballast water after measurement, and a housing (4) that accommodates the first measurement unit, second measurement unit, reagent supply unit, and water draining unit.
