Abstract:
A band saw blade (10), which forms an endless saw blade of a predetermined length L from a hoop material, includes, in hoop material state, a plurality of dents (18) formed on a saw back (10b) along a moving direction of the saw blade, and a flat portion (20) for separating one dent (18) from another dent (18). The flat portion (20) forms an oscillation start and an oscillation end of a predetermined cycle, and has a length that allows for endless-welding to form the endless saw blade of the predetermined length.
