Abstract:

A bank note processing device characterized by comprising a receiving section for receiving charged bank notes, a identifying section for identifying the bank notes received at the receiving section, a storing section that has at least one first cassette for storing or temporarily holding the bank notes identified at the identifying section, and at least one second cassette for storing the bank notes identified at the identifying section, an operating section for receiving a receipt confirmation indication of the bank notes which have been held temporarily in the first cassette, and a control section for controlling to temporarily hold the bank notes, which have been identified at the identifying section, in the first cassette, and controlling to store the bank notes, which have been held temporarily in the first cassette, in the second cassette when the receipt confirmation indication is received at the operating section.
