Abstract:
A barrel (16) for a female syringe of a female syringe assembly (12) comprises a barrel body (26), a female luer nozzle portion (28) into which a male luer nozzle portion (58) of a barrel (50) for a male syringe can be inserted and fitted, and a skirt portion (29) that extends from the distal end of the barrel body (26) in the distal direction and surrounds the outer peripheral surface of the female luer nozzle portion (28). A male thread portion (28a) provided to the outer peripheral surface of the female luer nozzle portion (28) extends from at least the vicinity of the distal end of the female luer nozzle portion (28) to the proximal end of the female luer nozzle portion (28).
