Title:
BASE-STATION DEVICE AND COMMUNICATION METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/038904
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In the present invention, a base-station device that is not limited by the concept of cells reduces system-control costs and expands areas that allow high communication speeds and high communication quality. Said base-station device is provided with the following: fixed cell base-station devices (420 and 421) that perform physical-layer processing and higher-layer processing in accordance with the concept of traditional cells; and a non-fixed area base-station device (430) that performs physical-layer processing not limited by the cell concept. Said non-fixed area base-station device (430) performs physical-layer signal processing for terminals in a low-throughput area. The fixed cell base-station devices (420 and 421) select a given antenna group from among antennas/antenna groups connected to said fixed cell base-station devices (420 and 421) and transmit local-station transmission signals together with transmission signals to terminals.
