Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a pneumatic tire (82) having outstanding durability. [Solution] A tire (2) is provided with: a tread (4), wings (6), sidewalls (8), a clinching part (10), a bead (12), a carcass (14), a support layer (16), a belt (18), a band (20), an inner liner (22) and a chafer (24). Dimples (62) are formed on the sidewall (8) that constitutes the inner side of the tire in the widthwise direction of the vehicle when the tire is fitted to the vehicle. Dimples (62) are not formed on the sidewall (8) that constitutes the outer side of the tire in the widthwise direction of the vehicle when the tire is fitted to the vehicle. The ratio (Ha/Hb) of the height (Ha) of the radial-direction outside edge (52) of the bead (12) from the baseline (BL) to the height (Hb) of the maximum width position Pmax from the baseline falls within the range of 0.8 to 1.10.
