Abstract:
This base station (100) has a control unit which spatially multiplexes a plurality of pieces of user data to be transmitted to a plurality of terminals #1 to #4 (101), and non-orthogonally multiplexes, with the spatially multiplexed user data, user data to be transmitted to another terminal #5 (101). The base station (100) is provided with radio processing units including a plurality of antennas, transmits the plurality of pieces of user data to the plurality of terminals #1 to #4 (101) by means of multiple beams by using MU-MIMO through a plurality of radio processing units, and transmits the user data to the other terminal #5 (101) through multi-beam transmission diversity.
