Abstract:
The embodiments of the present application provide a battery and an electric device. The battery comprises a case body, a battery pack and a limiting piece. The battery pack is arranged in the case body, and the battery pack comprises two or more battery cells arranged in a first direction, wherein each battery cell comprises a first side wall and a second side wall, which are connected to each other, the first side wall is the wall with the largest area among all outer walls of the battery cell, and second side walls of two adjacent battery cells are arranged opposite each other in the first direction. The limiting piece is fixedly connected to the case body and abuts against the first side walls of the battery cells, and the limiting piece is used for limiting deformation of the battery cells in a second direction, wherein the second direction is perpendicular to the first side walls. By means of the embodiments of the present application, the preparation process can be simplified, the cost can be reduced, and a lightweight design can be realized while meeting the requirements for limiting fixation and expansion-force resistance.
