Abstract:
A battery information system mounted in an electric vehicle (EV) comprises: a main battery (MB) capable of charging and discharging; a sub battery (SB) connected to the main battery; an onboard communication means (R) for transmitting and receiving information to and from the outside, and a system control means (C) for controlling the main and sub batteries and the onboard communication means. The system control means (C) is configured to input the start information of the sub battery (SB) into the onboard communication means (R) after the sub battery (SB) is started, and the onboard communication means (R) is configured to transmit the start information of the sub battery (SB) to a preliminarily registered vehicle-exterior data transmitting and receiving point (1). It is possible to develop a network wherein an electric vehicle (EV) equipped with the main battery (MB) and the sub battery (SB) is directly supported in accordance with the usage conditions of the sub battery (SB).
