Abstract:
A battery management circuit (4) used for each of a plurality of serially connected storage batteries (1) in a power storage device (100) that comprises the storage batteries (1) and a plurality of serially connected capacitors (3), wherein the battery management circuit (4) comprises: a positive-electrode connection terminal (14) connected to a positive electrode of the corresponding storage battery (1); a negative-electrode connection terminal (15) connected to a negative electrode of the corresponding storage battery (1); a capacitor connection terminal (16) connected to a terminal of the capacitor (3); and a control circuit (10) that controls the operation of connecting the positive-electrode connection terminal (14) or the negative-electrode connection terminal (15) with the capacitor connection terminal (16), and performs a control in the connection operation to synchronize with the operation of connecting another battery management circuit (4) among the plurality of battery management circuits (4).
