Abstract:
An exemplary embodiment of this battery module is provided with a cooling channel for cooling gas ejected from an exhaust valve of a battery and for guiding the gas to outside of the module. The cooling channel is formed so that the gas at a channel outlet has a temperature T (°C) of 500°C or lower. The cooling channel includes a filter having an aperture size A (mm) of 3.5 mm or less and/or a baffle plate having an aperture size A (mm) equivalent to 3.5 mm or less, so as to limit, when the temperature T is 350°C or higher, the size of an substance that is contained in the gas and is to be ejected.
