Abstract:
A blower fan (11) supplies air, in an amount corresponding to a fan rotational speed (Nf), to a burner (10) during an operation. A check valve (30) has a biasing force for closing an exhaust port (25), and is opened and closed in accordance with a relationship between the biasing force and the ventilation pressure of an exhaust path (20). A control unit (50) carries out a malfunction diagnosis for detecting malfunctioning in opening of the check valve when a phenomenon is detected in which the ventilation pressure is lower than a predetermined normal pressure range while the fan rotational speed (Nf) is within a predetermined diagnosis rotational speed range. The diagnosis rotational speed range is set within a rotational speed range where the opening of the check valve (30) changes with respect to an increase of the fan rotational speed (Nf) when the check valve (30) opens and closes normally.
