Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application relate to the field of batteries, and disclose a battery pack and an electric vehicle. The battery pack comprises: a housing provided with an accommodating cavity; a cell assembly, comprising a plurality of cells and disposed in the accommodating cavity, a first channel and a second channel being provided between the cell assembly and the housing, the second channel being filled with an adhesive to fix the cell assembly and the housing, and a spacer being disposed between the first channel and the second channel; and a pressure relief portion, disposed on the housing. Thus, according to the battery pack provided by the embodiments of the present application, when thermal runaway occurs, the resulting high-temperature gas can smoothly escape by means of the first channel and the pressure relief portion, thereby avoiding the defect that high-temperature gas cannot be discharged timely during thermal runaway of the cell assembly, and eliminating the hidden danger of explosion of the battery pack.
