Abstract:
A battery pack includes: an assembled battery (10) including a plurality of battery cells (11 – 15); a battery case (61) for housing the assembled battery; a wire case (62) assembled with the battery case; a connection part (60b) that connects the battery case and the wire case; and an elastic member (90) held between the battery cells and the wire case. A safety valve (10i) having a locally low rigidity is formed on one surface (10e) of the battery cells. The first end face (90a) of the elastic member comes in contact with the non-formation region of the safety valve on the one surface of the battery cells while the second end face (90b) opposite the first end face of the elastic member comes in contact with surfaces (62a, 78a) opposite one surface of the wire case. The wire case has formed thereon a regulating member (78) that comes in contact with side surfaces (90c, 90d) connecting the first end face and the second end face of the elastic member to thereby regulate the movement of the elastic member in a surface direction along the one surface.
