Title:
REFRIGERATION CYCLE DEVICE FOR BATTERY COOLING
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/146240
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In the present invention a refrigeration cycle (10) cools batteries. A control device (15) controls the flow rate of a refrigerant in a battery cooling system (30) so as to regulate the temperature of the batteries. The control device regulates the flow rate of the refrigerant in the battery cooling system so as to cause oil accumulated in the battery cooling system to flow to a compressor (12). The battery cooling system includes a plurality of parallel systems (31, 32). Electric expansion valves (31b, 32b) that act as flow rate regulation valves are controlled so as to provide an oil return operation intermittently. The electric expansion valves are controlled so as to provide the oil return operation alternately in sequence. In the oil return operation the flow rate of the refrigerant flowing in a portion of the plurality of parallel systems is increased to greater than the flow rate of the refrigerant that is caused to flow by a temperature control unit. Thus, provided is a refrigeration cycle device for battery cooling that reduces the accumulation of oil.
