Abstract:
The present invention relates to a battery pack that employs bus bars, and addresses the problem that if the straight-line distance between terminals of adjacent batteries is small, an overlapping area of the bus bars in a planar direction is small, and joint strength cannot be increased, and in order to resolve this problem the present invention is characterized in that, in a bus bar connecting a first positive electrode terminal of a first battery and an adjacent second negative electrode terminal of a second battery: a first conductive member of the bus bar includes a first joint portion that is joined to the first positive electrode terminal, and a first extended portion that extends from the first joint portion; a second conductive member of the bus bar includes a second joint portion that is joined to the second negative electrode terminal, and a second extended portion that extends from the second joint portion; the first conductive member and the second conductive member are mutually different materials and are connected at a third joint portion; and a distance from the third joint portion to one of the first joint portion and the second joint portion is less than to the other of the first joint portion and the second joint portion, and the third joint portion is formed in an overlapping portion of the first extended portion and the second extended portion.
