Abstract:
An imaging element of one aspect according to the present disclosure is provided with a pixel section (3) in which a plurality of pixels (2) are arrayed in a matrix. Each of the plurality of pixels (2) has: a plurality of photoelectric conversion elements (21) arranged in a planar direction of the pixel section (3); first lenses (23) that are located closer to a light-incident side than the plurality of photoelectric conversion elements (21) are and that are an example of an optical member for refracting light; and second lenses (25) that are located closer to the light-incident side than the first lenses (23) are. The first lenses (23) of a first pixel among the plurality of pixels (2) are disposed in such a manner as to be shifted by a first shift amount in the planar direction with respect to the plurality of photoelectric conversion elements (21) of the first pixel. The first lenses (23) of a second pixel, different from the first pixel, among the plurality of pixels (2) are disposed in such a manner as to be shifted by a second shift amount, different from the first shift amount, in the planar direction with respect to the plurality of photoelectric conversion elements (21) of the second pixel.
