Abstract:
The present invention is configured such that even if a high-temperature, high-pressure gas is discharged from a secondary battery cell in the interior of a battery pack, the gas can be smoothly discharged to the outside. This battery pack 100 comprises a plurality of secondary battery cells 1, and an outer case 10 that accommodates the plurality of secondary battery cells 1. The outer case 10 has a gas discharge hole 13 that is opened in a portion of the surface of the outer case 10. The outer case 10 is provided with, in the interior thereof, a discharge guide 6 defining a gas guiding path 34 that, if gas is emitted from any of the plurality of secondary battery cells 1, guides the gas to the gas discharge hole 13. The discharge guide 6 includes an inclined wall 18 that is inclined from an orientation opposing the discharge direction of the gas.
