Abstract:
The present invention provides a battery pressing apparatus that presses battery cells without causing lamination misalignment of battery elements inside the battery cells, enabling gas or air etc. inside the battery elements to be removed, and enabling the battery elements to be further impregnated with an electrolyte instead of the gas or air etc. This battery pressing apparatus (50) has: rollers (72) that press battery cells (10), wherein battery elements formed by laminating electrodes and a separator are positioned inside an outer covering, while rotating the battery cells (10); and a conveying means (60) that conveys the battery cells (10) at a rate that has been synchronized with the rotation rate of the rollers (72) when the battery cells (10) are pressed by the rollers (72).
