Abstract:
The present invention pertains to: a battery cleaning apparatus configured in such a manner as to clean the flat surfaces of a battery cell prior to passing through a roll press so that dust attached to the surfaces does not get pressed against the battery cell when passing through the roll press, damaging the battery cell; and a battery cleaning method. This battery cleaning apparatus has cleaning means (102) for cleaning flat surfaces (14) before passing through the roll press with regard to a battery cell (10) having at least one flat surface (14) that is to be roll pressed.
