Abstract:
A battery swapping station, comprising a carrying device (2) and a battery swapping device (3). The carrying device (2) is used for carrying an electric vehicle (1); the electric vehicle (1) comprises a vehicle body (10) and a battery module (11) provided on the vehicle body (10); the battery swapping device (3) comprises a rack (30) and a battery compartment (31) and a battery swapping mechanism (32) which are provided on the rack; the battery compartment (31) comprises a first workstation (310) and one or more second workstations (312) and is used for storing the battery module (11); and the battery swapping mechanism (32) is used for taking out, from the side of the vehicle body (10), the battery module (11) to be charged and assembling same to the battery compartment (31), and is used for taking out the charged battery module (11) from the battery compartment (31) and assembling same to the side of the vehicle body (10). According to the battery swapping station, the battery module (11) can be directly taken out from/assembled to the side of the vehicle body (10), and the electric vehicle (1) does not need to be lifted by means of the carrying device (2), such that the battery swapping steps are reduced, the battery swapping efficiency is improved, and the battery swapping time is saved.
