Abstract:
Provided are a battery capable of exhibiting excellent load characteristics and charge/discharge cycle characteristics, and a usage method and system with which it is possible to improve the load characteristics and the charge/discharge cycle characteristics of said battery. The battery of the present invention relates to goals 12, 3, 7, and 11 of the SDGs. The battery of the present invention includes a plurality of unit electrode bodies provided with a positive electrode and a negative electrode, or includes a bipolar electrode provided with a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a current collector interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, wherein: at least one of the positive electrode and the negative electrode contains a material having a spinel structure or a material have an olivine structure as an active material; and the battery is used in a system which charges the battery such that a ratio (Qobs/Qthe)×100 of a charging capacity Qobs per active material mass of the electrode, obtained by a specific formula, to a theoretical capacity Qthe of the electrode, obtained by a specific formula, is 60 to 90%.
