Abstract:
The present disclosure discloses a battery. The battery comprises a positive electrode plate, a negative electrode plate, a diaphragm arranged between the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate, and a non-aqueous electrolyte; the non-aqueous electrolyte comprises a non-aqueous organic solvent, wherein the non-aqueous organic solvent comprises at least ethyl propionate; the mass proportion of the ethyl propionate in the non-aqueous electrolyte is AEP (unit%), the contact area between the diaphragm and a negative electrode is Snegative electrode (unit m2), the battery capacity is C (unit Ah), then AEP, Snegative electrode, and C need to meet the following relational expression: 0.5≤AEP/(Snegative electrode/C)≤60. According to the present disclosure, by reasonably designing the mass proportion of the ethyl propionate in the electrolyte and the contact area between the diaphragm and the negative electrode and the battery capacity, the bonding force between the diaphragm and the negative electrode can be improved, the cycle life of the battery can be prolonged, and while reducing the cycle expansion of the battery, the low-temperature performance of the battery can also be taken into account.
