Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are a binder and a lithium-ion battery comprising same. The binder comprises at least one polymer, wherein the polymer has the structure as shown in formula 1. In the binder, by means of a composite structure in which the main chain is polyethylene glycol and two ends of a polymer chain contain catechol, a binder molecule is respectively endowed with high ionic conductivity and high adhesiveness. A negative electrode sheet containing the binder has relatively high ionic conductivity and peel strength. In addition, the binder of the present invention is used in a lithium-ion battery. Compared with a lithium-ion battery in which a conventional polymer binder is used, the lithium-ion battery in which the binder of the present invention is used has a higher cycle capacity retention rate, a lower cycle expansion rate, and a better rate capability.
