The items of furniture used as beds and convertible into vehicles found by the researches made by the INPI present no similarities whatsoever with the type of technique proposed in this request of patent. This state of affairs is due to the fact that the overall shape of a ^'Formula 1"racing car is too narrow and tapering to be easily adapted into a bed. That is why the petitioner had to devise a number of adaptations to allow the inclusion of a mattress.
The product of this invention reproduces in all details the racing cars of this most famous category, as well as employing all available spaces for use as chests, drawers, shelves, and, mainly, as bed.
In the drawings accompanying and integrating this report, the Figure 01 is an upper view of the bed and the Figure 02 is a side view. The Figure 02. 1 shows the air intake detail, the Figure 03 is a front view, the Figure 04 is a rear view and the Figure 05 is a perspective view.
As it can be seen in the drawings, the bed itself (B) is at the rear of the make-believe car. To use it, all the uppers section represented by the air intake (1) must slide over the laterally- placed tracks, until the section is over the remaining half of the air intake (2), that also retracts, together with a foldable door (9) that goes over the rear, to a position underneath the floor of the car. In
this procedure, the two parts that make up the air intake stay at the rear end of the"make-believe"car, clearing the space for the bed. The nose of the car (3 and 4) will be taken up by a storage chest or two, according to the number of lids, and the same will happen with the lateral air intakes (6) holding big storage drawers, with storage chests over them. The wheels (5) will have a lateral door and will be used as cupboards, and the fore and aft airfoils (7) will function as shelves.
