Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing an additive capable of improving the beer-like flavor of a beer-taste beverage, in particular, an additive capable of improving the beer-like flavor by enhancing the malty sensation or the post-consumption retronasal sensation of the beer-taste beverage. A solution to said problem is a beer-taste beverage flavor improving agent containing 5,6-dihydro-4-(4-methyl-3-pentenyl)-2H-pyran-2-one.
