Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a control device that can detect an end of cloth that has not been spread and grip the end, and a robot device, a control method of the robot device, and a program. [Solution] A control device according to one embodiment of the present technology comprises an acquisition unit, an operation instruction generation unit, and a determination unit. The acquisition section acquires an output from a first pressure distribution sensor disposed on a gripping surface of a first hand and an output from a second pressure distribution sensor disposed on a gripping surface of a second hand. The operation instruction generation unit generates a first gripping instruction to cause the second hand to grip a first predetermined portion of a flexible thin body gripped by the first hand, and a first movement instruction to move the second hand from the first predetermined portion in a predetermined direction relative to the flexible thin body while maintaining a gripping operation on the flexible thin body by the second hand. The determination unit determines whether the second hand has reached an end of the flexible thin body on the basis of the output from the second pressure distribution sensor.
