Abstract:
A behavior recognition system wherein a base recognition unit performs, on the basis of information of a database for base recognition, a base recognition process from the output value of a sensor or a value obtained by applying prescribed conversion thereto. Next, behavior recognition is performed by definition information of a behavior definition database that stores the definition information of a behavior using the base and the recognition result of the base recognition unit. Next, a result display unit displays the recognition result of the base recognition unit and the recognition result of the behavior recognition unit, and a base-and-related term display unit displays a list of the bases and related terms of a base-and-related term database. Then, a behavior definition unit defines a behavior as a combination of bases on the basis of a list of the bases and related terms selected from a user, and a behavior definition conversion unit converts the behavior definition information defined by the behavior definition unit into the form of behavior definitions stored in the behavior definition database. Thus, a behavior that the user wants to be easily recognized is defined, and behavior recognition intended by the user is made possible.
