Title:
BELT-TYPE CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/162148
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A belt-type continuously variable transmission (CVT) according to the present invention comprises a primary pulley (2), a secondary pulley (3), and a belt (4) wound around both pulleys, wherein a pulley pressing force is determined by a primary pressure (Ppri) supplied to the primary pulley (2) and a secondary pressure (Psec) supplied to the secondary pulley (3). In the belt-type continuously variable transmission (CVT), when a deviation of at least a prescribed value between a target pulley ratio set on the basis of a driving state and an actual pulley ratio calculated from the rotational speeds of the primary pulley (2) and the secondary pulley (3) has continued for a prescribed period of time, the secondary pressure (Psec) is increased, and a belt slip is determined to have occurred when the actual pulley ratio shifts to a high side as the secondary pressure (Psec) is increased.
