This vehicle lighting fixture is provided with: a rod-like light guide body disposed in a light room so as to extend in the upper and lower directions; and a light source for making light source light incident on the light guide body. The light guide body is provided with: a reflection step provided at the rear surface portion of the light guide body; and a protrusion-shaped step provided at the front surface portion of the light guide body. The reflection step makes the light source light, which has been incident on the light guide body, internally reflect and exit from the front surface portion toward the front of the lighting fixture, and the protrusion-shaped step makes part of reflected light deflect and exit in the lateral direction of the light fixture. The protrusion-shaped step has: a second reflection surface extending in a direction intersecting with the central axis line of the light guide body and that internally reflects the part of the reflected light in the lateral direction; and an exit surface that makes the light reflected on the second reflection surface deflect and exit in a horizontal direction, that is, in the lateral direction of the light fixture.
