Abstract:
Provided is a bending apparatus including a pair of right and left A-axis drive means
made individually controllable for moving and positioning a bend beam, and a
pair of right and left D-axis drive means for rocking and positioning the bend
beam vertically.Also provided is a bending method, which determines the offset
of a work from product information by a computation thereby to decide a center
bend or an offset bend, and computes and determines, in the case of the offset bend,
not only an A-axis drive in the A-axis drive means individually but also a D-axis
drive in the D-axis drive means, while considering the offset.
