Abstract:
A bill processing machine exhibiting high reliability of counting results and
high convenience and capable of a desired classification form after completion
of verification counting, composed of a receiving unit for receiving bills to
be counted; an identification unit for identifying attributes including kinds
of the bills to be counted taken from the receiving unit; a storage unit for storing
bills classified according to the results of the identification by the identification
unit in accordance with the classification form; an operation unit capable of
selecting a counting mode and a stacking mode; and a verification counting control
unit which takes bills to be counted for the first counting if a verification mode
is selected as a counting mode by the operation unit, stores the bills into a plurality
of stack units in a designated first stacking mode, verification-counts the
bills stacked in the first stacking mode, stores the bills into the plurality
of stack sections in a designated second stacking mode different from the first
stacking mode and which determines whether or not the numbers of bills subjected
to the first counting and the verification counting are equal to each other for
each kind of bills.
