Abstract:
A billion pixel-scale wide-field-of-view camera, comprising: a main body mechanism and a camera module (300), the camera module (300) being detachably mounted inside the main body mechanism. The camera module (300) comprises multiple lens modules and a mounting frame, the multiple lens modules all being detachably mounted on the mounting frame, the multiple lens modules having consistent photographing angles in a vertical direction and photographing at different angles in a horizontal direction, angles of field of view of two adjacent lens modules having partially overlapping areas, and focal lengths of the multiple lens modules being the same. A lens module comprises a lens (303) and a module (304). Multiple lenses (303) are provided, video pictures photographed by each lens (303) are consistent in the vertical direction and are photographed at different angles in the horizontal direction, and the pictures photographed by the lenses (303) have certain overlapping areas, to ensure that there are sufficient features between pictures of adjacent lenses (303) for stitching and fusion, so that the field-of-view angle of the camera can reach 180°-360°. This causes the camera to have low image deformation while having a larger field of view, making it possible to expand to a higher resolution.
