Abstract:
This biological information measurement device is characterized by being provided with: a sensor module 20, which is provided with N light-emitting elements 21 (N being an integer greater than or equal to 3) that emit light of different wavelengths and N-1 light-receiving elements 22 that receive light of different wavelengths emitted from the light-emitting elements 21 and reflected by the organism 10 and that output a signal of the strength corresponding to the amount of light received; and a signal processing unit which performs signal processing on the output signal from the light-receiving elements 22 and generates biological information, wherein the signal processing unit is provided with a microcontroller which, on the basis of the strength of the output signals from the light-receiving elements 22, controls the amount of light emitted by the light-emitting elements 21.
