Title:
BIPOLAR STORAGE BATTERY, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING BIPOLAR STORAGE BATTERY, AND BIPOLAR LEAD STORAGE BATTERY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/215329
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a bipolar storage battery in which a plurality of cell members are electrically connected in series by electrically connecting positive electrode collector plates and negative electrode collector plates to one another by way of through holes in boards, and the objective of the present invention is to prevent short circuits by making it difficult for an electrolytic solution to reach the through holes in the boards, even if the electrolytic solution is migrated between the collector plates and the boards. At least one of a bottom surface of a recessed portion (121b), which is a surface on a positive electrode (111) side of a main board (121), being a board disposed between cell members (110), and a bottom surface of a recessed portion (121c), which is a surface on a negative electrode (112) side, has a ten-point mean roughness (RzJIS), according to the provisions of "JIS B 0601:2013 Annex JA", of between 30 μm and 104 μm inclusive, and a maximum height roughness (Rz), according to said provisions, of 123 μm or less, wherein a metal positive electrode collector plate (111a) and a metal negative electrode collector plate (112a) are fixed respectively to the surfaces using an adhesive (150).
