Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a blast furnace operation method by which operation of a blast furnace can be stabilized even when the powder ratio of coke charged in the blast furnace has increased. The blast furnace operation method is for operating a blast furnace while supplying air through a tuyere disposed in a lower part of the furnace, said method involving successive measurement of the grain size distribution of coke being carried into the blast furnace and adjustment of the amount of air to be supplied and/or the coke ratio in accordance with an index obtained from the grain size distribution.
