Title:
BLOOD PRESSURE MEASURING DEVICE, BODY CHARACTERISTIC INFORMATION CALCULATING METHOD, AND BODY CHARACTERISTIC INFORMATION CALCULATING PROGRAM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/038441
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided are a blood pressure measuring device, a body characteristic information calculating method and a body characteristic information calculating program with which it is possible for body characteristic information of a person being measured to be obtained accurately using a simple operation. This blood pressure measuring device (1) is provided with: a three-axis acceleration sensor (11); and a control unit (13) which outputs information for guiding the arm of the person being measured, on which the blood pressure measuring device (1) is being worn, to a pair of attitudes, namely a first attitude and a second attitude, in which the position of the wrist differs, and which determines, on the basis of an output signal from the three-axis acceleration sensor (11) after said information has been output, that the arm of the person being measured has adopted each of the attitudes in said pair of attitudes. The control unit (13) calculates the length of the forearm of the person being measured, on the basis of acceleration information during movement, detected by the three-axis acceleration sensor (11) during the period in which the arm changes from a state in which the arm has adopted the first attitude to a state in which the arm has adopted the second attitude.
