Abstract:
This coiled material transporting device (4) is installed between a coiled material supply device (2) which supplies a coiled material (100), and a press device (3) which presses the coiled material (100) supplied from the coiled material supply device (2), wherein the coiled material supply device is provided with a support unit (41), a slide drive unit (42) and a transporting unit (44). The support unit (41) is capable of extending and retracting in a direction toward and away from a die (8) installed in the press device (3), and supports from below the terminal end (100b) of the coiled material (100) supplied from the coiled material supply device (2). The slide drive unit (42) causes the support unit (41) to extend and retract, and causes the support unit (41) to extend when the terminal end (100b) of the coiled material (100) is to be transported to the die (8). The transporting unit (44) is provided in the support unit (41), and transports the terminal end (100b) of the coiled material (100) toward a lower die (7) installed in the press device (3).
