Abstract:

There has been a problem in that when a blue-green algae powder is tableted alone, a poor tableting yield is obtained due to cracking, chipping, or the like, and disintegration would occur due to absorption of moisture, etc. Therefore, when performing tableting, it has been necessary to add a binder or an excipient such as a sucrose fatty acid ester and dextrin. Meanwhile, it has not been possible to accommodate the preference of consumers who dislike such additives. The present inventors have diligently conducted research in order to solve the abovementioned problem, have found that the tableting yield of a blue-green algae-containing tablet is improved by using a formulation containing a blue-green algae powder and α-linolenic acid, and thereby have arrived at the present invention.
