Abstract:
This board connector 10 which is attached to a circuit board 13 having conduction paths 14 comprises: a housing 18; and a terminal 21 fixed to the housing 18. The housing 18 has: a terminal fixing wall 28 to which the terminal 21 is fixed by penetrating therethrough; a bottom wall 24 placed on the circuit board 13; and an upper wall 27 facing the bottom wall 24. The terminal 21 has: a terminal connection part 33 located in the housing 18 in a state of being fixed to the terminal fixing wall 28; an extension part 39 that is disposed from the terminal fixing wall 28 to the outside of the housing 18 and extends toward the bottom wall 24 along the terminal fixing wall 28; and a board connection part 42 that extends, in a leading end of the extension part 39, to a region between the bottom wall 24 of the housing 18 and the circuit board 13 and that is soldered to each of the conduction paths 14 of the circuit board 13. The upper wall 27 has an upper-side opening part 19 that is open at at least a portion of a region corresponding to the board connection part 42 in the direction intersecting with the bottom wall 24. The bottom wall 24 has a lower-side opening part 19 that is open at at least a portion of a region corresponding to the board connection part 42 in the direction intersecting with the bottom wall 24. The terminal connection part 33 and the board connection part 42 are formed at positions displaced from each other in the direction intersecting with the bottom wall 24.
