Abstract:
Provided is an on-board electronic device which can easily prevent static electricity from being discharged to a circuit substrate when a wire harness is connected. This on-board electronic device 1 has a wire harness 30 connected thereto. The on-board electronic device 1 comprises: a metal housing 2 which accommodates a circuit substrate 20 therein and has a front part 7 to which the wire harness 30 is connected; and a resin connector 22 which is mounted inside the metal housing 2 on the circuit substrate 20 so as to oppose the front part 7, and to/from which a harness connector 32 of the wire harness 30 is inserted/removed. The front part 7 has a farthest part 15, which is the section most separated from a terminal 23 inside the resin connector 22 in an insertion/removal direction P of the harness connector 32. A distance D in the insertion/removal direction P between the terminal 23 inside the resin connector 22, and the farthest part 15 is greater than a space insulation distance A in the insertion/removal direction P between the terminal 23 inside the resin connector 22 and a terminal 33 in the harness connector 32.
