Abstract:

Provided is a bobbin winding device, wherein the degree of freedom with regard to the layout is improved and it is possible to guide a thread to a thread splicing device in a short time. An automatic winder is provided with a bobbin supporting unit (7), a thread storage device (18), a winding unit (8), a thread splicing device (14), and a needle thread guiding unit. The bobbin supporting unit (7) supports a thread supply bobbin (21). The thread storage device (18) stores a thread (20) unwound from the thread supply bobbin (21). The winding unit (8) forms a package (30) by winding the thread (20) stored in the thread storage device (18). The needle thread guiding unit pulls the thread from the thread storage device (18) and guides said thread to the thread splicing device (14). Moreover, the needle thread guiding unit is provided with a guiding tube (34) for pulling the thread (20) from the thread storage device (18) and for blowing said thread towards the bobbin supporting unit (7), and a needle thread capturing unit (13) for capturing the thread (20) blown by means of the guiding tube (34) and for introducing said thread to the thread splicing device (14).
