Abstract:
Provided are: a body size estimation device that is capable of estimating the body size of a user without first requiring the user to make a T pose; a body size estimation method; and a program. A body size data storage unit (50) stores body size data indicative of the body size of a user. A posture data acquisition unit (52) acquires position data indicative of the position of each of a plurality of mutually separate regions of the body of the user. A body size estimation unit (54) estimates the body size of the user on the basis of the positions of two or more body regions indicated by the position data. In the case where an estimated body size is larger than the body size indicated by the body size data stored in the body size data storage unit (50), a body size update unit (56) updates the body size indicated by the body size data to the estimated body size.
