Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a bonding method capable of adequately bonding rubber products together in which an organic peroxide has been added and which have excellent heat resistance, and a conveyor belt manufactured using the bonding method. This bonding method bonds predetermined adherend rubbers together using in the bonding interface a bonding rubber obtained from a rubber composition for bonding containing an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer (X2) and an organic peroxide (Y2). The ethylene/α-olefin copolymer (X2) contained in the rubber composition for bonding includes an ethylene/1-butene copolymer. The ethylene/1-butene copolymer satisfies a predetermined number-average molecular weight and molecular weight distribution. The ethylene/1-butene copolymer content is 60 to 100 mass% with respect to the entire mass of the ethylene/α-olefin copolymer (X2).
