Abstract:
A technique of easily and unfailingly setting a bookmark of a scene that a user notices in video content while making it possible to correct the difference in time scales between the bookmark, the corresponding scene, meta information and the like and to conduct an efficient matching process at a later timing. A user terminal (200) acquires time data that are stored in a book mark device (50), and transmits the time data to a server (100) along with a device ID. The server (100) stores the time data and the device ID in a storage device, receives a bookmark registration request from the user terminal, and retrieves a list of video content and the like broadcast at a time corresponding to the time data corresponding to the device ID to return. The user terminal (200) returns to the server (100) data of the video content and the like which are selected from the list and which correspond to the time data. The server (100) receives the data and stores the data in the storage device such that the data are associated with the time data.
