Abstract:
Provided is a massage chair, which includes a seat, a backrest and a foot massaging device disposed in front of the seat and which can make the structure simpler, the weight lighter and the cost lower all at once. The massage chair is equipped below a seat (2) with a back-and-forth motion mechanism (15) joined to a foot massaging device (5). When the back-and-forth motion mechanism (15) protrudes forward, the foot massaging device (5) advances to a using position (U), which is located in front of the seat (2) and at which the foot massaging device (5) can massage the legs of the user. When the back-and-forth motion mechanism (15) retracts backward, the foot massaging device (5) is housed in a housing position (P) formed below the seat (2).
