Abstract:
A bottomed cylindrical body according to the present disclosure includes: a cylindrical part formed from a ceramic in which aluminum oxide is used as the main component; and a plate-like window part that seals at least one end of the cylindrical part. The window part is formed from sapphire or a transparent ceramic. The bottomed cylindrical body is a joint body of the cylindrical part and the window part. The average value of the average length (Rsm) in a roughness curve of a first opposing surface of the window part on the cylindrical part side is greater than that of a second opposing surface of the cylindrical part on the window part side.
