Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To provide a brake caliper formed to promote the release of heat from a brake fluid and a brake fluid cooling device positively cooling the brake fluid. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] This brake caliper (4) comprises cylinder-piston units (3) operating pistons by the hydraulic pressure of the brake fluid supplied into the cylinders (1), a heat exchange chamber (5) into which the brake fluid is led, and an air duct (6) into which air is led to cool the heat exchange chamber (5). Since the brake caliper (4) can directly suppress the rise of the temperature of the brake fluid and rapidly lower the temperature of the brake fluid even if the temperature of the brake fluid is raised, vapor lock can be prevented from occurring.
