Abstract:

Based on the differences between a target value and a real value of the pressing power with which a friction member presses a brake disc, a feedback control of the pressing power is executed. As the real value, a detection value (Fba) of the pressing power itself is not used, but a "limited pressing power (Fbs) is used in which a variation of the Fba over time is limited on the basis of a limitation value (Lmt)". The limitation value (Lmt) is set on the basis of an electric motor speed (dMkt(dMka)), a vehicle speed (Vwa) and a temperature variation over time (ΔTmp) of the friction member. The Lmt is set such that it increases as the dMkt(dMka) increases and the temperature variation over time (ΔTmp) increases, and also increases as the speed of the vehicle (Vwa) decreases. Thus, the present invention provides a brake control apparatus for a vehicle, which can properly perform brake torque control without causing a variation in brake torque for the vehicle, even if there is a deformation in a rotation member (brake disc).
