Abstract:
This brake control device is applied to a vehicle provided with a regenerative generator. This brake control device is provided with: a "pressure adjustment unit that is configured from an electric pump and a pressure adjustment valve and that adjusts the adjustable liquid pressure of a pressure adjustment fluid path between the electric pump and the pressure adjustment valve"; and a "controller that controls the electric pump and the pressure adjustment valve". The controller performs a preliminary pressurization for increasing an adjustable liquid pressure from zero to a predetermined liquid pressure and maintaining the liquid pressure before initiating a switching operation of a regenerative braking force by the regenerative generator and a frictional braking force by the adjustable liquid pressure, and performs the switching operation by increasing the rotation speed of the electric pump and increasing the adjustable liquid pressure from the predetermined liquid pressure after performing the preliminary pressurization.
